I have a Masters degree in Business Administration from the International Academy of Management and Economics. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Santo Tomas. Both schools are in Manila, Philippines.
My first and longest professional stint was with the Development Bank of the Philippines for 13 years, making me well-versed in corporate banking and program development. In 2007, I moved to Singapore where I advanced my career in business consultancy as Analyst Manager with Info-wire Consultancy Pte Ltd. There, I provided advisory services and conducted training sessions for local SMEs that wanted to venture in overseas as well as to those that wanted to expand in Singapore. After 2 years, I moved to CISI Singapore as Vice President for Business Development. CISI is a London-based institution providing professional certifications in the Financial sector. While in CISI, I deeply advocated all the course offerings with ethical components, particularly, the Integrity & Ethics at Work, where I delivered presentations to the Banks and other Financial companies, including the regulatory bodies for the mandate of CISI courses. My most memorable career life was when I joined the Singapore Compact for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), now the Global Compact Network Singapore, where I managed over 500 public and private member companies by organizing CSR events and seminars in order to exchange best practices among the members. Here, I fell in-love with the idea of fulfilling good CSR works as the pathway to Sustainability. Back in the Philippines in 2015, I accepted a job offer from the UERM Medical Center, Inc. as the Executive Director for Business Development, Corporate, and Alumni Affairs. With my extensive exposures in banking, business consulting, and CSR, I found it most challenging, yet fulfilling, to embrace the unique cultures in the Healthcare and Academe. |
